I'm planning on buying the game when I get the money later this month, but I want to put a copy on my DSTT (I would dump my own game when I get it but don't have the knowledge or tools to do that). My question is, would I be able to play the game fine without the Poke Walker? Would I miss out on any legendaries? Also, if I went to a store to download a Pokemon from a store event, would they kick me out of the store if they knew I was downloading to a rom copy, even if I had a legal copy of the game on hand to show them? I hate having to carry multiple game paks with me, and if I lose a DSTT it's so much cheaper to just buy another DSTT, and restore my games through backups, then if I lost actual game paks, and had to either buy them again from stores, or order them online.
poke walker it lets you catch pokemon you can't catch in the normal game, no legendaries. never kicked my son out when he got an arceus event pokemon at game in Swansea, but wouldn't surprise me if they check as they do not want to support flash carts. poke-walker does not work on flash carts, it has a sensor built into cartridge for poke-walker connection.
