hope someone can help ive just bought my daughter a new dsi and the r4 card that she had in her previous ds will not work in it at all. is there anything i can do to "upgrade" this card or do i need to buy a new one, or will a r4 card work at all in the new one? thanks
Unless that card was specifically designed for the DSi then no it will never work. Buy an Acekard 2i - there are too many "R4" cards - over 50 each with their own firmware etc, a nightmare to update with the right firmware. If the Dsi goes into the nintendo shop the firmware will have to be updated, this can stop the R4 / flashcart from working so you need to make sure a fix is available (and applied as it cannot be updated once the DSi is updated)
