what r4 card do you have? there are so many r4 cards in the market. And what the detail issue of it? if the kernel disappear in your sd card, just format your sd card and reput newest kernel. If the console update and your card say "error", your card need updating If the console show "no card insert", maybe the card is broken, for r4i gold 3ds, if card broken, it can be fixed by another good card. but for other r4 cards, it cannot be fixed.
