R4i-Gold 3ds updating cart firmware

Hi,
I recently bought a 3ds and a r4i-gold 3ds from r4i-gold.com. When I plugged the cart into the 3ds with the files it asks me to download from thier website, it shows me a wolf cart as the game in the system. I tried opening and it says that there is an error and to restart the system. I did some research and it says that I have to update the cart with a DS or a DSlite. I downloaded the file fwup143b.nds and updated the cart with a DSlite. Now when I put the cart back in the 3ds it freezes the system and I have to reboot. What am I doing wrong?

Hi, there are some problems of the r4i-gold kernel. Now the problem is solved. You can download the R4i V1.70b kernel for use. (before kernel are out of work) only R4i-Gold V1.70b can work on R4i-Gold 3DS card now.
