R4i 3DS problem

    Hello, I just purchased used 3ds xl and I also got R4i 3ds v5 (check link for picture http://i.imgur.com/24fiI1y.jpeg) but everytime I launch it I get "error has occured message".
    Checked that firmware version was 1.74b with my ndsl.

    Is this because v5 card doesnt support latest firmware (6.3.0-12) or something else?

    Yes, your card has stopped production as early as May.15th.

    That is why people always recommend R4i gold 3ds, always keep on updating.

    Hmm... that is the r4i sdhc 3ds v5.0
    That card cannot work on 3DS latest system, even cannot be updated.
    I am sorry seems you have to change another card.
    The new r4i sdhc 3ds card is r4i sdhc 3ds rts card, it can work on 3ds and dsi latest system out of box.
