I have a DSI with 1.4U software on it. I have a R4I SDHC gold with a 2g mini SD, which I was told was compatible with the unit. It does not matter what firmware I install, all I get on the main screen is "Star Wars Lethal Alliance Ubisoft" in the game slot. If I click on it, I get " An error has occurred". I have been researching without luck - Help please....
R4i Gold (r4-pro.com) Gold R4i (r4ids.com) There are two card called nearly the same, the site in my signature hosts them all. It is a firmware issue!
I have tried downloads from both sites ... still no go. It has a 1.4v on the card, does this mean something?
I have tried all that was suggested. Either I have a dud for a card or I am doing something terribly wrong. The R4 card works fine on the lite.
I have gone to the web site R4i-SDHC.com.au. Downloaded R4-i English V1.4, I copied 7 files over from the download, and still the same result. It does have a instructions for what files to copy.. I did not see ".DA", ".NDS" and ".INI" as they describe. Like I said I am new at this - maybe I doing something wrong!
I have a r4i gold for my ds lite and I have installed the firmware but every time I do I get a plain white screen and it flashes and does not load the r4 menu. Can I do anything to fix it or is the card not going to work. I know my firmware and SD card are working because I tried them on another R4.
and this other R4 card is exactly the same as this one. There are over 40 different cards calling themselves R4 (one of the reason most people should now avoid them) each has there own firmware. The site in my signature hosts them all, try the most likely first!
In fact,the R4i Gold of R4ids.com is the first & best r4i card,not the r4i-pro.com gold r4i,also the r4i gold is the first r4i card to support dsi v1.4
