R4iDS3 card stops at loading screen 3DS rom

Hi, i am new to this forum so Hi all. My youngest boy has just got a 3DS and we also bought him the R4i3DS card. We have DS and DSi cards too that work well.
I followed the istructions and install firmware V1.51 and also added a couple of 3DS Roms. The card boots o.k and will play DS roms o.k so far. When I load a 3DS rom (mario kart 7) it goes to the loading screen and stops there, will not load, the loading bar never fills up.
The 3DS is on version v3.0 as it update when we first went on line.
What are we doing wrong, can you play 3DS roms?

Lol. This is because it doesnt boot 3ds games. Only ds.

 

Thanks after a lot more searching I found that out too. I did buy the card on the impression you could download 3DS roms and use them. Wonder what the point is of 3DS roms are then?
I hope the genius's out there crack this soon? Do you think this will happen?

 

There is no point of them yet. They can be dumped and not played just yet. Only in time you will be able to soon.
