Anyone help me with this. It starts to load & then comes up with "rom loading failed" load rom errcode=-4
I used to be able to fix games by just changing the sav file to .sav instead of .SAV but it already is lower case. I think I have the latest software, not really sure, but I found that I had to load an unofficial update the last time as it seems my card is fake & the clone killer was wrecking my card, though I did recover it.

This rom isnt working on a lot of cards... There is save file issue/Anti Piracy going on with it... you have to wait for a patch to come out...unless you have an acekard2i

you need an acekard 2i not 2, i have seen a patch for 4743 game has to be that number rom not any other, and it does not work on R4 series and i have yet to try it on DSTTI

I used "DSBuff" but you can use "DSlazy" both are free to download.

Yes i think you need .net framework for them to work.

DSBuff/DSlazy will allow you to unpack the arm7.bin file from your donor game

Then using DSBuff/DSLazy you can then insert that arm7.bin into the not working game.

NB: I only confirm this working on an Acekard2i runnning AKAIO 1.5.1, i know that for many flashcarts this method wont work.

I could upload the rom (i cant give you the exact link) but i could tell you what to search for...

You can fix quite a few older games with this method if you get an error that is "game save" related, but newer games may have a whole lot of other AP as well as the save file thing.

That download is sega & sonic all stars (arm7 replaced with a working one) and ready to to be played on acekard2i...(just keep "a" pressed while loading)

If you want to have a go yourself at the arm7....

HOW TO DO the ARM7 PATCH....
(although called a patch, you are actually just replacing the arm7.bin file in the non-working game with another arm7.bin file from another random "working" game.)

    Download DSBuff... http://filetrip.net/f3100-dsbuff--v1-Final.html
(.net framework needs to be installed\)

1... choose a game that loads on your acekard( i used 7 wonders of the ancient world, just cos it was top of my list of games)

2... open DS Buff and click the browse for file button on top, and locate ANY game that you know works on your DS (as the donor)

3... select unpack it ( icon of box with red circle in)

4... select a directory to unpack to

5... Deselect all boxes except the arm7 box, .....So only select/tick the Arm7

    6... it will unpack arm7.bin

7... Close DS Buff, you now have an arm7.bin file that you will now replace into the Game that doesn't load because of save file error

    8... Open DS Buff again

9... Click browse button at the top and find your game that has a save error "Blah Blah game that don't work.nds" file on your computer

10... Then click the icon 2 boxes to the right of the unpack icon when you hover over it should say "Arm7"

11... click the Little folder icon & locate the arm7.bin file you created earlier and press the green tick

12... choose a new name for this nds file

13... Copy this new file to your sd card ....Done

(Try pressing "A" while loading, also try pressing "X" while loading)
(These are different loading modes the acekard has... The "Loading" will show a diffrerent colour for the loading mode its using)

    Hope this helps
