What card currently working with DS XL

Just got the new DSXL but dunno which card will work with this new console ?

Recommend R4 SDHC

 

That card wont work on dsi xl with firmware 1.4 or any Dsi 1.14 actuallyits been blocked and can not be updated to work, the R4i gold version does claim to work, but i havent tried it.


google "dsi 1.4 update fix" to see the amount of trouble that came with the 1.4 Dsi update for all flashcards...

Cards like Acekard2i are updateable if they get blocked, acekard was blocked on 1.4, like all flashcards, but because the card is updateable, an update file was released and it now works, not same can be said for a load of R4 cards.

best to avoid anything with R4 in the name to be honest.

 

Yeah, R4 hasn't been a reliable indication of quality in a looooooooong time. Technically, any DSi compatible card will work. There was some compatibility issue with an older model of EZFlash Vi however, see here for more details.
