i want to buy a r4 for my ds lite.
i tried twice to order one from two websites but they are all located in china and the stuff never came.
can anyone tell me a good, trustworthy website that won't just take my money and do nothing?
btw, what is the difference between r4 and r4 gold?
I think first you should shame those shops that did not supply your goods. There is nothing more annoying then waiting for a parcel to arrive only to find you have been ripped off.
I can't tell you the exact difference between the standard and the gold version of the R4. But i do know that the latest version of the R4i Gold supports the 1.4 firmware version of the DSi which is pretty cool. It uses the Moonshell interface and can handle every rom i have thrown at it so far (albeit i have only had it 2 weeks) I got mine from a relatively new site, And yes i think its based in China because they accept many currencies.
The reason i bought from them was they accepted Paypal and i can be sure that if i don't get my goods then i can get my money back.

The retail boxed r4i gold took about a full week to come and came with the R4i card, micro sd card reader and a wrist strap (for the card reader i think)cost was about £19 i think with free shipping.

the r4 only support DS, r4i gold support DS/DSi. To be honest, r4 is not a good choice. so many clones. google it, you'll find out
