Hi

Im really rubbish with all things do to with computers so I need some help, please!

I wanted to download some movies so I used utorrent and downloaded a couple from there. Now, one of them seems to work (toy story 3 for the kids) but I also downloaded clash of the titans but it doesnt seem to work. It took all night to download, it says its 686mb but when it plays it only has 4 seconds on the bar. The screen just says play on windows media player then ends. It says its an avi. file

At first I thought I'd done something wrong, looked it up and ended up downloading VLC as it said that would play avi files. But no luck. Have I just spend hours downloading 4seconds of nothing??

Also, if anyone could help with this- I also have the VLC player for iphone (3Gs ios4). I managed to set that up and transferred the movies to that, but the toy story one (which plays fine on my laptop) says my phone is too slow to play it. It plays sound but no video. The clash of the titan one just plays the same message.
