I have been getting these random porn sites popping up in my web history. I am the only one that uses my laptop and it's not me. Sometimes they pop up on days my laptop wasn't even on. I suspect frostwire as this all started right when I started downloading a ton of music. Anybody else having this problem?

YES!!! I had that exact same problem. My girlfriend was PISSED. Took me forever to convince her that it wasn't me. I no longer use frostwire for music, I am strictly a torrents guy. Much safer!!!

Yes, among a million other problems frostwire also caused my web history to be full of porn. My wife was furious!! The only reason I am still alive is because a bunch of sites popped up on a day when we were out of town. What a mess!!! Uninstall Frostwire!!!

I guess technically it's not "frostwire" that's doing it. But several porn and gambling companies have caught onto the fact that peer to peer sharing is getting huge. and is a great way to advertise for free. What they do is, they post popular songs, and they attach little "mini" viruses to the files that contain those songs. so when you download one of those songs, a little virus comes with it. The most simple and common form of one of these viruses is one that will randomly stick websites in your favorites or web history.
