Comcast cut me off of their internet because I went over their 250 gig monthly limit so I got DSL from my verizon provider. I opted for their fastest 7.1 Mbps service. DSL speed reports says I get 6631/713 but when I use utorrent I only get 700 kbps down and 50 kbps up. Is this right? With comcast on a 3 Mbps plan I was getting 1.3 Mbps down and 250 kbps up.

a Byte <--(uppercase) is eight bits <--(lowercase)

hence, a 1.5 Mbps connection will yield approximately 150 KBps... yes it should be abit more, but some of the connection is taken up by overhead.
