The Pirate Bay help

#1 02 Jan 2013 @ 15:46
Ok, so I am a total noob to the whole torrent thing. What I have noticed is when search for movies, the resolutions are very different. When I load them to my NAS, and connect to my TV, the picture is off. How can I get/find proper resolutions?? Very frustrated. Am I missing a key component to the torrent world or is this just the way it is?

Thanks.

I do not know what type of TV you have, but it sounds more like an encoding issue. For the most part videos in torrents come in containers like avi and mkv. They are also encoded in various formats. XviD and MP4 popular ones.

Anyhow, you need to read the documentation for the TV to see what is compatible.
