an old verion of Limewire of Frostwire. Again I don't use anything at the moment but have used limewire and torrents. I preferred torrents and I would say that is still the best method for getting music. The quality, variety and speed of torrents is hard to beat. There are also things like rapid share which are paid for but are faster than torrents and probably not a huge a selection as some monster torrents site like Pirate Bay and Demoniod. I still suspect rapid share might have a better selection than even Frostwire.

Frostwire is as simple to use as Limewire.

torrents are a bit harder to use. This is a good thing because total morons don't use torrents. You don't get DRMed music with torrents. The quality is better with torrents because the providers are not morons. While malware is common with simple P2P Limewire ect. You play the tune and you become infected with a bot-net. It is very rare to get malware with a torrent. You are more likely to get a false positive than a virus. This is because the torrent users are not completely anonymous so they take pride in what is put up. With the simple P2P a hackers open up a directory full of malware labels as music videos etc. and who is to know. There is no quality control and there is no home base.

We have at least one member that distributes malware that way. They actually go out of their way to make it look suspicious. That way all but the most stupid are scared off. With total morons you are free to do what ever you want for as long as you want.

Other fine points is a source may be around for months with with simple P2P your source may only be available for an hour or so.
