Alright, I hope I put this in the right thread, its a problem with the software or converting or something.

I have a camcorder that records to DVD's so I put the DVD in my computer and took off the .VRO files from the DVD. Using CDRoller is split the video from the .VRO files to get .MPG files. The files play great in Windows Media Player, no lag or unsynced audio but then I put them in Adobe Premiere Pro CS4. When i preview the video the words people on screen are saying are synced and it seems to be working fine, but by the end of the video the voices are about 3 seconds off and its really really annoying.

Ive tried changin g the file format and converting them using AVS Video Converter, Adobe Media Encoder, Changingg the file extension.

But none of it works. Does anyone know a solution to fix this? I know the files are fine its just Premiere screws them up.

You're recording in a format that is meant for viewing the video, from your camcorder, to your television.

Change your recording mode. You won't need CD Roller to split anything out.

Dang. That would have been awesome to know a few days ago, but It's kinda late now, because all I have are the .MPG files from the .VRO's that i split, after i split them I erased the .VRO's . So I cant really re shoot all the stuff we did
