Hi There What is the best software (Free) to convert various video files (flv, mpg, mov, asf) to wmv. I would like features like being able to choose the bit rate and resolution and if possible a basic trim function. Thanks! Adam

Best video converter? just use yahoo or google to search for some tools, another say, I know one, my friends introduce to me, very excellent, named http://www.i'manidiot.com edited by ddp, can rip dvd and convert any video.
Best? I am not sure everyone could like it. I always like to use a video converter after I found it on internet.
Search "WinX" in afterdawn.com or Google, I use their converting tool for a long time now. Simple and quick.
