    Hello.

I have a friend who has a laptop and this laptop has Vista installed on it. He's got used to it and so I am not about to either give him XP or W7. It has a video playback issue and so I thought I would use codec sniper to have a look at his codec situation.

    Codec Sniper

He's got a large number of broken codecs. The trouble is that Codec Sniper does not appear to work with Vista (what does?). Is there another piece of software that can do the same thing (scan installed codecs and allow the user to delete broken ones)?

    Thanks.
