Attempting to convert AVI files for DVD playback, via the ISO file route.

Running FAVC 1.07 and Avisynth 2.5 and am encountering an error with a popup saying:

MPEG2 has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry fo the inconvenience.

I'm attempting to create an ISO file and not a DVD directly which worked for about 4 DVDs. I read somewhere to select UseDirectShowSource FOr AVI Files instead of AVISource from the Advanced tab, but that did not provide different results.

I've deleted and reinstalled both FAVC and Avisynth, but that didn't help either.

I did load both software on another PC and have been able to create ISO files succesfully.

    Any other ideas to try?

Does it sound like an MPEG2 codec thing?

Did you try replacing .Net Framework?
