Hello to all! Noob here, looking for something I have some .avi files that I would like to merge together. Not only that, I would like to edit these files. Some of the video images recorded I would like to get rid of. What is a simple software to edit and merge .avi files? Thank you!
Avidemux is worth a try. You can drag the first video onto the window and then the file you wish to append. Use the slider and the A/B buttons to make the edits. The sidebar settings can probably be left as is. When you make the final edit, click the 'Save' logo and give the new file a name including the extension, e.g. newfile.avi
Try womble mpeg video wizard dvd. Avidemux will only join avi files if they are the same resolution/bitrate. Womble will join/edit different formats/resolutions/bitrates at the same time.
