Hello guys, I'm new here, could you please help me to find a tool to convert wmv to 3gp which works on Win 7 also? I've just switched to Win7 and my old converter doesn't work on 7. I need mainly to convert my wmv to transfer them on my cell, but if there will be an app which supports other formats will be better. :)
Thank you and any help will be appreciated.

Thanks, do you actually use this tool, or did you search and found this one as a Win7 supported tool? Anyway, I've tried it, at a first sight it seemed to be a good app as it has so many supported formats but when I converted my wmv files to 3gp, after conversion there was an annoying yellow vertical line on the video. So, uninstalled it immediately.

Their documentation says it works on Win 7. I have only used it on Vista 64X, with no problems.

Hy, if your files are protected wmv you should take a look at Tunebite, it's a DRM removal and also a converter. I'm a new user of this tool but I can say that it works well, I don't use Windows 7 but I saw on its site that it works. So, you could give it a try.

Well, thanks, this one seems to work on win7 too, I have heard about Tunebite Converter long time ago but didn't use it as I used a free converter. I have also tried Daniusoft as it said it can convert protected wmv and it works on 7 but after conversion there was no sound in the file. So, I think I'll stay with the one you recommended to me, too bad I could convert only 1 min from the file and I have to buy it.
Dunno sure, maybe I'll keep looking for a free tool which can convert protected wmv but if I don't find a good and reliable one maybe I'll buy Tunebite.
Thanks anyway, this one seems to be a good app, at least it converted perfectly that 1 min, with good quality and pretty fast...

Yes, Tunebite works, I have used it several times.
However,I didn't recommend it because you never mentioned in your original post anything about your WMVs being DRM'd.

Well, I'm sorry for not being very clear and thank you for your help. Finally I have bought this Tunebite Converter and it works nicely so far, I haven't encountered any problem, what I like a lot is that it can convert many audio and video formats, it doesn't convert just one or two formats, it supports many file formats. Besides that it downloads plenty of music. :D
    Thanks guys!
