Ever since my computer installed haali media splitter with a a codec package my files in the wondows live movie maker will freeze up. I can't figure out how to keep everything in the codec package except for the haali splitter. The splitter acts like a trojan, popping up whenever I don't need, in fact, I was doing well without the program.
Uninstall the codec package and then do a custom install, choose not to install Haali, that would probably be the easiest option. Or, first you can try to go to Add/remove programs in Control panel,and find the entry for your Codec Pack . Choose Change/Delete, and then Custom Uninstall; see if you have anything called "Source Splitters & Filters", and uninstall Haali.
