2012 Blu-Ray will not play, I get to the menu screen and there isnt any menu options. The menu screen video just keeps looping. I press play nothing happens, I also cannot skip to Chapters. i am using HP media Smart to play the bluray on my HTPC using MC7. if i use arc soft trial, it works but no surround sound . any help?

same problem. dvd menu video loops and loops. but no dvd menu buttons. play does nothing. cant skip or select a chapter. ripped to image file using anydvd hd. played back with power dvd 7 bd on win xp. it plays fine in a separate sony blu ray player. sounds like its the player program, not the ripping program?? any thoughts?
Man Brandon that victor guy sounds like an idiot. I have an assus blue ray player. So far it plays every thing good except 2012. I have cyberlink power dvd 9, and suprise suprise no fracken menu. I'm downloading a patch as I type this, who knows if this will work. Why is it that every blue ray disc has different software and menus? Some one needs to put there foot down and standardize this stuff so that we can all watch all the blue ray discs. If you gentelman are still having issues send me an e-mail, I might be able to help you get a copy of cyberlink dvd9. thanks
