Hi People. Hope you can help. I want to rip my blueray film to harddrive to archive my collection and then play them back through pc hooked up to my big tv. What I need to know is what program do i need to rip film to Harddrive and to what format for playing back. Any help would be great Ta!!!!!!
Do you have film or you talking about discs? If your talking bout disc then DvDfab and AnyDvD HD will rip the disc. DvDfab will even shrink your movie to be burned on a bluray disc. Here a lot of folks use dvdfab/anydvd hd to rip and use tsmuxer and megui to rip, encode, and imgburn to burn the disc. On the 1st page of the bluray HD backup thread is a lot of warez to dl and a guide that will get you started. There is a wealth of knowledge in that guide. If you follow it you will backup a bluray disc. As far as playing back on pc I have the Kpac codic installed and I use vlc and wmp to play the movies. You can get the kpac codic pac from the BD tools bundle from the 1st page of the bluray backup thread.
