Blu Ray Playback problem with PowerDVD 9

Hi all,
I recently clean installed windows 7 on my Vaio laptop which has a built in Blu ray player. I installed PowerDVD 9 in order to watch Blu Ray discs but encountered a problem. A played a blu ray disc and the universal advert at the beginning played fine but when I tried to play the movie the picture was all scrambled up with lots of green colour. Whats wrong? What do I need to do?
