Most of the blu-ray movies I get are .mkv and this is a problem because I'm using Nero 9, which will let me play them, but not burn them to a blu-ray video disc. I have to convert them first to .avi then burn which takes forever. Anyone know of a good program that will let me burn .mkv to blu-ray video?

You might want to try MultiAVCHD at
    Code:
    http://multiavchd.deanbg.com
. It works very well creating AVCHD and "BluRay" disks that can be written to a DVD (with a simple menu), but it requires quite a bit of PC "horsepower." I've run it on my intel dual-core XP 64 with 8 Gigs of RAM and it's pretty sluggish, but YMMV depending on what you've installed on your PC. On the other hand the process is very fast on my i7.
