Site update - March 16th 2010

AfterDawn.com has been updated! In addition to renewing the layout of the site we have also speeded up things considerably. The new version has been tested on our Finnish site for several months, and during the testing we have managed to improve the new version even further.

You can now enjoy this new layout at English AfterDawn.com and English Discussion Forums as well! We have also introduced new sections to the site, and re-arranged things a bit.

Corrupt m2ts file.

#1 19 Nov 2009 @ 13:28
I have just backed up Matrix reloaded, i used anyDVD hd to rip to my HD, then i used TsMuxer to get rid off all the unwanted material and create a BD file, i've done this to 4 different movies all work fine on a BD disc. I went to stream it to the PS3 but the m2ts file came up as corrupted? I then tried loading the original Matrix reloaded folder before i put it through TsMuxer, all the extra's played fine apart from the main movie? So i tired loading the m2ts file on VLC media player and it came up with this error:
"No suitable decoder module: VLC does not support the audio or video format "WVC1". Unfortunately there is no way for you to fix this."

Then i put the original matrix reloaded folder through TsMuxer again but this time out-putted it as a m2ts file and the same problem occurred, does anyone know why this happened? and if i burnt it to a bd disc would it play?

figured it out..

for those that are a bit behind in backing up blu-rays like me and want to go discless, the problem was that the movie is in VC-1 format which ps3 only recognizes on a actual disc. So when streaming it or putting it on a HDD it comes up as data corrupt. It can be converted but that's another story
