With out looking at your folders its hard to say if your doing anything wrong. There could be something wrong with the files. So try this. Download TSmuxer and load the largest m2ts file inside the stream foler into tsmuxer then mux it into a BD. Before you burn check the video file to see if its anygood. Then burn the new BDMV folder w/ imgburn.

If you don't have 1, install a codic pac. I use the K-pac lite. Open the largest m2ts file with vlc. Check to see its a good copy. When your satified it is. Open it up in TSmuxer. Then select bluray disc then mux. Burn the BDMV folder with ingburn. In TSMUxer you can create chapters if you want.

Have you made sure your video file is good? Did you create bluray disc w/ TSmuxer? When you load the file in tsmuxer what does tsmuxer say it is? If you have 10 files that are the same size your going to have to see what they are. I have'nt came across that yet. In your BDMV folder you should have a stream folder. In there you should have a file larger the the others. Opening that file in tsmuxer then createing a bluray disc will work. Then burning w/ ingburn in the udf 2.5 format will make it play on most players.

No. Muxing is just combining the video and audio files and any subs if any. You have the same quilty
