Illegal disc error with Verbatim BD-R

Just got a brand new LG BluRay burner and a several spindles of Verbatim LTH 2x BD-Rs. Burned about 5-6 and came across an illegal disc error on 2 different discs when trying to burn my backup. Tried with Nero 10 and ImgBurn and it fails before it even starts the Lead-In.

I reinsert them and they show as blank discs so they didn't turn into coasters. Firmware is up-to-date and everything else seems okay. Are these just bad discs or is there something I can do to maybe remedy this? Also, does Verbatim have a disc replacement program or something, I wouldn't moan over a $0.15 DVD-R, but these things were about $1.60 each. Hopefully, won't have any more problems though.
