I am having problems burning files (either DVD or Blu-ray). I insert either an SD (standard widescreen video) or an AVCHD opening file, it works well. The next opener is the menu file. I insert another video background, DVD or AVCHD file, with chapters. When I pre-render, the opening pages works o.k. The (second) menu video file disappears and I get a black screen, whilst still retaining the opening chapter and all its vide/audio information. I also use a giff animation for the opening chapter renders, as it appears to be the most acceptable format in Nero. I have re-installed the programme a number of times and it seems to be a bit of 'pot-luck' whether it burns or not. I've tried alternatives (Vegas Architect pro sucks although as a video editing programme, it's an awesome - check my clip - all I need is for Nero to burn me the menu without fail! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PnpdaI11NWs (australian santana video clip) - and Nero beats everything else I've tried hands down - its an awesome Menu Maker. All my codex are o.k., my machine is cleaner than a broom closet (all unnecessary software on other un-connected machines) but Nero has this intermittent problem I would hope someone can help me with. I've been through all the settings but have I missed something really simple ?

I'm really lost in what your saying. When your in the building the menu secton you have a drop down window where you can choose some preloaded pics and video clips. I believe on bottom you have the browse button. I don't understand if you get this far or if your problem is just nero won't burn it.
