I own a Panasonic DMP-BD70VK that is hooked up directly to my Sony Bravia KDL-32S5100 through an HDMI cable. While playing VHS tapes, video and picture plays perfectly, but when I play a DVD/Blu-ray disc, the picture is perfect but I have no audio. Before I could turn the volume up and down repeatedly (or hold it) and I would hear a blip for each number the volume went up until it went back to normal, but I can no longer get sound even by that method. I have tried another HDMI cable but it does the same thing. While playing through component cables though, it works fine. Any help is appreciated! Thanks!

Get it's frequency reset. you will get it's sound as you want, otherwise get it well done from outside by a mechanic.
