Samsung C5500 Help Please

    Hello,
    I recently purchased the Samsung BD C5500 player. The bright white lights on the front control panel for the touch sensitive buttons are driving me crazy. is there any way to turn them off? Thanks for any help...

    Page 41 of the user manual describes two settings that might be of help.

    Energy Saving: If ON the front panel will turn-off after 5 seconds of no operations.
    Front Display: Auto - dim during playback; Dim - always dim; Bright - always bright.
