Hello. I have a Toshiba Regza 37 inch LCD TV, connected to a Thomson Cable Box.
The picture is perfect , but there is a problem with the sound. When powering up the
TV, the picture comes up quite rapidly, but the sound takes a few more seconds (around
7 seconds more) until it is heard. After that, everything is ok, and the video and the sound are synchronized with no problems. My question, what could be the reason for the sound delay at the start, and what could i do?
By the way, if i connect through a component cable, there is no delay, but the picture quality is lower.

    1. The "sound", is it from the TV itself, or through a separate audio receiver?
    2. Have you tried it w/o the STB?
