   I want to hook my laptop to my tv, i have a Toshiba Satellite laptop and Panasonic 42" Plasma TV, the laptop has a 15 pin connection but tv has HDMI connection

   Get an adapter cable if the Laptop has a DVI out, or use the TV's component input if the Laptop can do component (with an adapter cable).
