VGA Laptop vs. Component TV

    HI. I have a laptop with VGA and my LCD TV only has component and HDMI . I bought a VGA to component cable but i get no signal . Does this conversion work ? What can i do ?

    No. These inexpensive cables are Component to VGA. They are meant for attaching the component outputs of a device to a VGA input which supports Component video. Which is what you will see with many projectors.

    And it doesn't work the other way around ? Component doesn't support VGA signal ?
