Help! Nokia N8 micro USB port doesn't work anymore :(

Hi everybody,
For no reason at all, my Nokia N8's micro usb port does not work whatsoever. I tried charging it and connecting to my PC, and it doesn't even detect it at all. I even tried different USB cables and am still having no luck. I don't know what to do, and I'm quite annoyed cos I spent like $500 on this phone and I don't wanna have to buy another phone just for this reason. If anybody could help me, I would appreciate it very much.
