Anybody know how to get this game to run on a US Slim running 5.50 Gen-B Full or know where a US iso is located
There has recently been some issues running Soulcalibur's Ero copy on US PSP's but its since there has been a copy cracked and repacked playable on US modles.
I used to be able to play Ero games no issue, what gives
Also as a side note, does anybody know what the minimum firmware required for the game is?

As this is not available as custom firmware you can bumpskie as much as you like - wont work
Soul Caliber never needed 5.55

What was it that caused the complications with Soulcalibur that required opening the ISO, editing it, then recompiling it as a cso before it would play in both slim and phat modles running 500m33v6 & 550GEN-B?

I geuss the "Bumpskie" worked as figuring out what firmware it required would explain (Simplly) why it wont run.........
Soooo hopefully 6.00 is decrypted soon (process already has been started)and GEN drops a cfw for it before GT is here

Soul Caliber was a simple piracy check, the UMD came with 5.55, however it was not required to run the game.
Most titles now need 5.55, this was never released on the PSN only on UMD's hence it was difficult to download and a CFW has never been issued.
6.0 has now been released on the PSN and as you say Gen have decrypted it, however it will still be a while before a true stable release comes out.

Yeah this was a old thread from before the decrypter was released, Ive already fixed this to work on my GENvBFull

20 mins ago i upd 2 550 2 c wat dirt2 and gt was all bout
i love racing games but they were the same as nfs games. gt only had 4 fn car dealers and infiniti and mitsubishi were the only 1s i new. u cant do anything 2 ur car not like in gt 4 ps1 buyin upgrades and paint, u can paint only wen buying and the graphics r good but id stick w my 500 if i were u guys stressin ovr "should i bump up?"
i thot so hi of gt and dirt 2 i was so psychd but then i playd dirt and it truly made me think i was playing nfs 4 the first cpl of races w/o the customization of nfs tho. :(
now im just tryin 2 downgrade back 2 500. wat a waste of time, i think ill play motorstorm and mx vs atv on the edge til LBP PSP and ASSASSINS CREED BLOODLINES release

You do realise the manufacturers available in the showroom change every two in-game days? ie; every two races? >.<
There's loads of different manufacturers...
