This might be a dumb question but what the heck,

I have had a PSP 1000 for 4 years now, with many ROMs on it. I'm thinking about getting a brand new psp but my friend tells me you cant mod the 2000 and 3000 series. Is this true?

Also I've been told the new "PSP Go" will be hitting the market this month, does anyone think this will be able to get moded?

Yes they can all be modded, except the new go as that'll need looking at to see if it can be hacked.

BUT you need to have firmware 5.03 especially on the 3000. slim can be modded upto firmware 5.50.

i hate psp go so far.....the 16gb hardrive....and it doesnt have a umd drive so u have to buy it and download it? do u got to pay for the psp internet now? i got alot of questions....like why does it look so different.
