Charging PSP SLIM w/o PSP AC charger

Hi , i have lost my AC charger. As i know, my PSP SLIM has a USB charge function which i can access when i turn my psp on and click on it. BUT the problem is there is no power to even turn on my psp so i cannot charge it (via usb cable)

I have a only a usb cable. Is there a way to charge it? Or do i need to buy a USB psp charger (which connects to the yellow port near the power button) or another AC charger?

Any comments will be much appreciated

You will have to buy or cut and convert the one you have.

the PSP will only charge from the USB once it has turned on and recognised the cable

You can do one of three things.

1)Buy a another AC charger.
2)Borrow an AC charger from a friend
3)Or buy something like this. Its still cheaper than buying a new AC charger.

Don't waste your time on one of these USB chargers, they are useful for some time but it takes them forever to load the battery. Also a new charger is 2 US$ more (4.85 US $ overall):
