Hello and thanks for reading :)

I have a problem with some AV Component cables.. I have a PSP2000 with custom firmware and a Sony television.. The cables fit into all the jacks in the back of my tv, but nothing comes on the screen, its just black! I've literally tried everything.. switching around the cables, checking if they fit, double checking this and that.. and nothing seems to make sense! please help me cos those cables cost like 60$

Have you switched the psp to display on the TV, in the menu one of the options is for a display, switch it on and it should work

thanks! I feel really retarded right now cos i'm not a noob when it comes to psp's.. i just really didnt understand why! :P but yeah i guess its pretty obvious isnt it!
