I'm currently looking to buy a new LCD display for my PSP. I keep seeing "LCD Display for PSP3000" "LCD Display for PSP1000."

Does it really matter if I buy a "PSP3000" LCD Display for my PSP1000, or does the version have to match the display version?

Different connectors - you need the right display for the right model or it won't fit

And if you have a PSP 2000 get one with a broken drive or destroied housing but a still working screen on ebay. It's actually cheaper than buying a new screen and you might get a secondary battery. Only for the 2000 model though.
