building pc for arcade machine

    hows it going Ive decided im going to build an arcade machine, basically Im wondering what would be the best pc and parts for it to run emulators up to the psx, I'd need it to run smoothly(obviously would be crap if it was mad slow loading ect!) any help would be great!

    It won't take much...other than the PSX part. PS1 emulation is very good, but PS2 emulation is still at a very early stage. If I were to do this project, I would just piece something together from old, outdated machines found by dumpsters, or I might even base it arround a PS2 with freemcboot and a usb hard drive.

    cheers for the response man, yeah im not bothered with the ps2, few ps1 games I'd like to have though, my main concern is having a pc that will run without any lagging, would a normal 2gig machine do or is there any must have parts?
