Choosing a video card

    The gigabyte looks like it will be quieter and thinner than the HIS. I have a Diamond 4670 that had a fan similar to the HIS, and it was very loud (I removed the video card fan and just have a 80mm case fan blowing on it).
    For me if I had a choice I would purchase the video card that had the better(quieter) cooling fan.

    I'd go with the gigabyte too, but more for the board itself. HIS makes great boards, but Gigabyte makes even better boards.

    Of course, coming stock with a Zalman cooler is a big plus for the Gigabyte.
