hey everyone. im building my first computer, the only thing i have left to get is memory and a dvd writer. i found some memory, ddr2 800 mhz standard 240 pin, does anyone know if its supported with my foxconn g33m02 775. ive heard some ddr2 memory isnt supported. im pretty sure my board supports up to 4 gig. say i want 2 gigs total, can i use a 2 gig ddr2 stick and have 2 gig on the computer or do i have to buy 2 1gig sticks and use two slots, i dont know if its ok to use just one slot or have to use more than one, also looking for a cheap dvd writer(sata, any info would be great. thanks everyone

That board can accept 2x2GB PC6400 DDR2. What brands will work fine with it won't be immediately obvious. If your memory is from a common, trusted brand it should be fine. If it's an obscure brand, don't be surprised if you encounter problems.
As for a cheap DVD burner, Sony Optiarc 24x or LG GH22NS50.
