Hi im after some help i would like to build a new media center but would like some advise ...
I want to be able to play back blu-ray and hd movies play music watch tvtcct etc but would like to know if the ZOTAC NM10-A-E-ION Intel D510 Atom Onboard M-ITX Motherboard With ZOTAC ION 512MB Graphics Card would be suitable or and other recommendations.
i would like to design it so it stays on in standby mode when not in use hence the atom
and must be quiet as i hate the sound of fans etc
    thanks in advance
    alan

The Ion is probably your best bet. I'm not sure how reliable they are, given most nvidia stuff seems to break prematurely, but they're certainly low-power and quiet. Can you get hold of an Atom system with a PCIe 16x slot on Mini-ITX? They certainly do exist, but I'm not sure how expensive they are. If you can do that, you can buy a low-profile Radeon HD5450 or something like that which will be fanless (i.e. silent) and definitely up to the job of playing HD multimedia.
