    Windows Task Manager only sees 4 threads rather then 8 threads.

    CPU-Z reports 2 Cores 4 threads.

    Got a MSI GD64 Mobo with the latest bios. Hyper Threading is enabled in the bios. Any ideas?

    EDIT: Fixed.

    Would you mind explaining how you fixed it for the benefit of others?

    Sorry normally i would have I was really sick yesterday.

    Pretty simple really. Start->Msconfig->Boot

    I set it to 4 cores on my C2Q. This was preventing Windows from picking up the other cores. Simply disabled that, rebooted, and everything was fixed.

    Fair enough, can't say I've ever messed with that before.
