    Hi,

I'm looking for a high quality laptop that will be able to last me 3 or 4 years without looking like Stonehenge.

I'll mostly be using it for going on the net, watching movies, recording music, listening to music and the occasional game.
I'm ready to spill about 800 dollars.

Any advice or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

I don't think that you need to spend that much, and you have provided a very generic list of applications. As far as games, what will you be playing? Solitare or Call of Duty?

You didn't mention anything about screen size, battery life, weight, size.

Based on your specs, almost any laptop would do, but "I'm looking for a high quality laptop that will be able to last me 3 or 4 years without looking like Stonehenge. "

IMHO, there ain't no such thing for $800.00.

the reason why i didn't mention size or weigh is because my life consists of things and activities of greater importance.I don't spend my days in the same way as you,is all i'm trying to say.

moved to correct forum as not an all other topics issue.
theoipod, next time edit your previous post as per forum rules instead of having 2 posts back to back. watch the attitude as dailun is correct for asking those questions to you as you did not provide that information.
