Hey guys, i got this device with my HP desktop and i'm not sure what it is or what it does. If anybody could help me identify what it is that'd be great. All i know is that its supposed to be plugged into the back of my computer. I think it may have something to do with connecting to a routers signal, but am not sure. Here are some pictures i took of the device.

It looks like the antenna for a wifi adapter.

Correct, it's an external antenna, for use either with a wireless card, or a router.
