New build backing up data

    Im building a new PC but using the same parts i used to build this pc for my brother. i want to make a back up IMAGE of my C drive but not any other drives how would i do that? and if i was to move my other HDD to the new pc would i have any problems?

    From what I can gather, you're trying to make an exact replica of the contents of the drive so you won't have to bother installing windows and drivers. It won't work, so don't bother. Installations of windows are specific to the hardware they run on. If you plug a hard drive into someone else's system (or make an exact copy of its contents) more often than not, you will just get a blue screen when entering windows.
