    Which option would be best for gaming - With the Gigabyte UD3P mobo

    Patriot Viper Series DDR2 PC2-8500 1066MHz 2GB (2x1GB) CL 5-5-5-15 $85.99

    or
    Corsair XMS2 Dominator TWIN2X2048-8500C5DF Matched Pairs 2GB Kit (2x1GB) PC8500 DDR2-1066 CL 5-5-5-18 w fan $84.99

    I think you mean Corsair dominator vs Patriot Viper lol.

    I would take the Corsair - proven reliability, excellent cooling.

    It's just come to my attention - you already own the Patriot RAM? There's not much point swapping it for Corsair if you already own similar memory.
